KiK Music provides many opportunities for young people to develop their musical interests in a setting which promotes enjoyment and the development of social and personal skills through informal learning. These include:
- Offering a broad range of projects for the young people to engage in together that indirectly involve personal and social citizenship and learning.
- Providing young people with the opportunity to write and perform their own songs.
- Encouraging young people to develop their own leadership and team skills through working alongside others and assisting them with their creations.
- Providing a platform for young people to perform their work and to experience the enjoyment of having their work listened to.
- Encouraging young people to understand their own experiences and the value of their achievements.
